2008 Stamp Issues

Royal Mail has announced the following new stamp issue programme for 2008:-

17 July - Airshows
22 August - Olympics Handover
18 September - RAF Uniforms
29 September - Country Definitives Anniversary (Miniature Sheet)
14 October - Women of Distinction
4 November - Christmas
6 November - Lest We Forget (Miniature Sheet)

CDS Covers Direct will be producing covers cancelled with CDS postmarks from interesting Post Offices for each of these stamp issues.

We are pleased to offer one cover for the next 13 new stamp issues at the favourable price of £97 (equivalent to £7.46 for each cover in comparison with our standard rate of £8.00 for each cover). In many cases, we will issue more than one cover with a separate CDS. In this scenario, we will supply the cover which in our view is the most interesting and collectable CDS. Alternatively, we can supply one cover for the 6 stamp issues following the date of order for £46.50 (equivalent to £7.75 for each cover).

In the past, Standing Order covers requiring more than the one CDS cover supplied under their standing order arrangement for a particular stamp issue have had to pay for these by cheque. Now they have their own special ordering page (Standing Order Customer Ordering) and have the option of ordering and paying for these on-line.
